Steve R. Milligan Sr., 61, of Mt. Vernon, OH, formerly of the Smithfield, OH area, passed away Saturday June 9, 2012 in the Knox Community Hospital in Mt. Vernon, OH.Steve was born Aug. 12, 1950 in Cambridge, OH, son of the late George and Eileen Kochur Milligan. Steve was retired from the State of Ohio Bureau of Workers Compensation. He was a member of the K of C and the F.O.E. # 3261 in Reynoldsburg, OH.Surviving are two sons, George (Bonnie) Milligan of Baltimore, OH and Dr. Steve R. Milligan Jr., of Lima, OH; his sister Karen (Jeff) Pazzelli of Smithfield, OH; his companion Carolyn Shaffer of Mt. Vernon, OH; grandson Kingston Sheares of FL; two nieces Beth (Corey) Petrosino of Dillonvale, OH, Shannon Pazzelli of St. Clairsville, OH; one nephew Jeffrey (Robyn) Pazzelli of Rayland, OH. Visitation will be held on Wednesday June 13, 2012 from 11 am to 12 noon at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home, Inc. 107 Hill St. Smithfield, OH. Burial will follow at 12:30 pm at Holly Memorial Gardens in Pleasant Grove, OH.
