Steve William Swick, 90 of Toronto, Ohio; passed away Friday Aug. 11, 2006 at the Carriage House in Steubenville, Ohio. He was born Dec. 18, 1915 in Toronto, son of the late Frank and Rose Kosmal Swick.He was a retired roller for the Wheeling - Pittsburgh Steel Corp., with 40 years of service. He is a member of St. Francis Roman Catholic Church in Toronto and was a 60 year member of the Disabled American Veterans. He served his country during W.W. II in the United States Army as a member of Company A 402 Engineer Combat Battalion, receiving two Purple Hearts. In addition to his parents Steve was preceded in death by two brothers; Carl and Tom, and a sister Wilma.Surviving are his wife Pearl (Zelasko) Swick, whom he married on Nov. 17, 1945; one son William Swick of Toronto; two daughters, Ann (Jim) Patton of Westerville, Ohio and Suzy (Bruce) Horwortz of San Rafael, CA. 11 Grandchildrenand3Great-Grandchildren.
