Steven Carpenter, 20, of Toronto, Ohio passed away Monday afternoon Feb. 1, 2010 in Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pa.Steven was born Sept. 8, 1989 in Steubenville, son of the late Bruce Carpenter who passed away in 2005 and his mother Cathy Cottis Carpenter who survives of Toronto. Steven was employed at Dollar General in Toronto and loved Deer Hunting.In addition to his Dad Steven was preceded in death by, his Paternal Grandparents Russell and Arlene Carpenter and by his Maternal Grandmother Hannah Cottis.Surviving are his Mother Cathy Cottis Carpenter of home, his Grandfather George Cottis of Toronto, his step-sister Krista (Jonathan) Boley of Toronto, Steven's girlfriend Ashley Wright of Toronto, six aunts Cindy Cottis of Toronto, Georgia (Greg) Hvizdzak of Weirton, Linda Carpenter of IL., Winnie Carpenter and Christine Hendrickson both of Steubenville, two uncles Clarence (Donna) Carpenter of IL., and David Carpenter of Steubenville. Great-Aunts and Uncles, Irene (Frank) Mitchell and Mike (Ruth Elaine) Cottis all of Toronto. Friends and family may call on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm., at the J. E. Foster Funeral Homes, Inc., 701 Findley St. Toronto; where Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 11:00 am. Rev.
