Steven E. Strupe 20 of Twp. Rd. 120 Adena, formerly of Smithfield, Ohio passed away Friday June 10, 2005 as a result of a motorcycle accident. Steve was born July 10, 1984 in Steubenville,son of M. Edward Strupe and Rebecca (Pozar)Strupe both who survive. He was employed by the Strupe Construction Co. in Smithfield. He attended the Friends Church in Smithfield, he was a Dean's list student at Jefferson Community College majoring in Engineering, a member of Phi Theta Kappa at the college, was a member of the Smithfield Historical Society, the Piney Valley Sportsman's Club and the A.B.A.T.E motorcycle organization. He was preceded in death by his Paternal Grandfather Marion F. Strupe. Surviving are; His father M. Edward Strupe of Smithfield, his mother Rebecca "Becky" ( Pozar ) Strupe and her fiance Roger Crouthers of Adena, his Paternal Grandmother Jean Strupe of Rayland, his maternal Grandmother Nancy Pozar of Smithfield, his maternal Grandfather Jim Pozar of Sandusky, Ohio. A Step-Brother Joshua Crouthers of Bridgeport and a Step-sister Shelly Crouthers of Dillonvale and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Friends and family may call on Monday evening from 7 - 9 pm. and on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7- 9 pm. at the J. E. Foster Funeral Home, Inc. 107 Hill St. Smithfield; where funeral services will be held on Wednesday morning at 11:00 am.
