Susan E. Nixon, 55, of Wintersville, OH, passed away Wednesday Oct. 26, 2016 in Trinity Medical Center West ER in Steubenville, OH.

Susan was born Feb. 8, 1961 in Steubenville, daughter of the late John and Kathleen (Keiser) Emery.

She was employed by the Walmart Corp. where she worked in the bakery dept at the Steubenville Walmart store.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Jerry Paul Emery, Larry Amstutz and Charles Rocky Emery.

Surviving are her three daughters, Gretchen (Raymond) Barnett of Steubenville, Robin Carle and her fianc Ramiro Cerda Sr. of Columbus, OH and Ashley Nixon and her fianc Robert Glasure Sr. of Dillonvale, OH; her sister, Millie (Danny) Cato of MO, her brother Johnny Emery of Smithfield, OH and her nine grandchildren, Tammy Ayers, Carol Barnett, James Barnett, Timothy Barnett, Robert Glasure Jr., Felicity Glasure, Sebastian Carle, Ramiro Cerda, Jackie Cerda and Baby Girl.

Visitation and Services will be held on Monday from 4-7 pm, followed by the Service at 7 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home 107 Hill St. in Smithfield, OH. Thomas Arehart will conduct her service and burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
