Terry J. Rigby, 71, of Empire, OH, passed away Wednesday Aug. 17, 2022, in the Valley Hospice Care Center North in Steubenville, OH.

Terry was born Jan. 2, 1951, in Empire, son of the late Harry and Virginia (Sines) Rigby. He was retired from Anthony Mining Co. where he worked as a mechanic.

Terry loved hanging in the Rigby Party Barn with his wife and 2 godsons, Artie & Doug, drinking the infamous Mc-A-Dews while singing karaoke, and dancing his butt off with his wife Patti.

Whether hanging with friends or family Terry always made sure he had a good time at the Party Barn. He enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He loved to shoot pool.

In addition to his parents, Terry was preceded in death by two sisters, Diane Martin and Linda Mitchell.

Surviving is his wife, Patricia A. 'Patti' (Wilson) Rigby, whom he married on May 27, 1996; daughter, Deanna Hill of Tiltonsville, OH; son, Christopher (Misty) Rice of Steubenville; daughters, Angie (Steve) Diekmann and Melanie (Bryan) Clark both of Toronto; son, Doug (Shanna) Knight of Wintersville, OH; brother, Lee (Emma) Rigby of Wellsville, OH; 5 nieces and nephews, 13 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.

Terrys wishes were to be cremated, with no services observed. His arrangements are in the care of the J.E. Foster Funeral Home and Crematory in Toronto, OH.
