Thelma M. Neely, 88, of Smithfield, Ohio passed away Thursday June 23, 2011 in Trinity Medical Center West. Thelma was born Sept. 27, 1922 in Bradley, Ohio, daughter of the late Pearl and Mildred Riley Harkins. She was a homemaker, a member of the Smithfield Christian Church and the Unionport O.E.S. In addition to her parents, Thelma was preceded in death by her husband Richard Neely in 2002, her son Larry in 1987, her granddaughter Lari Ann Yeager. Three sisters; Eileen Young, Virginia Tomaszewski and Pearl Fellows. Four brothers; Earl, Robert, Howard and David Harkins. Surviving are her son Dennis Neely of Smithfield, her daughter Pam (Jim) Carducci of Smithfleld, two sisters; Shirley Fabry of Smithfield and Mildred (Vincent) Morelli of Wintersville. One brother; Fred Harkins of El Paso, TX. 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be on Monday from 4-8 pm at the J. E. Foster Funeral Home, Inc., 107 Hill St. Smithfield; where Services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 am. Rev.
