Obituary
Theodore Robert Ted Fidak, 83, of Wintersville, OH, passed away Thursday, July 11, 2019 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital in Columbus, OH.
Ted was born May 9, 1936 in Empire, OH, son of the late Joseph and Mary Rodak Fidak.
He was retired from Timet-Titanium Metals Corp. in Toronto and was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Steubenville.
In addition to his parents, Ted was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mildred Riapos Fidak.
Ted leaves behind his daughters, Sheila and her husband Ray Mayhew, Jr. and Michelle and her husband David Matzenbach both of Westerville, OH; three grandchildren, Christopher Robert Matzenbach, Ashley Marie Matzenbach and Jacob John Mayhew.
Private Catholic services were held for Ted on Tuesday at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto, OH with Fr. Thomas Vennitti presiding. He was buried in Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Steubenville. www.jefosterfh.com
