Theresa Dougherty, 80, of Toronto, OH, passed away Saturday February 4th, 2006 in the Valley Hospice Palliative Care Unit in Steubenville. She She was born in Toronto on December 16th, 1925, daughter of the late John and Margaret Straka Conlon. Theresa was a former employee of the former Welshes Drug Store and the Hub of Steubenville..She was a member of the St. Francis Roman Catholic Church in Toronto, the CWC of the Church, the L.A.O.H., and a member of the Toronto Senior Citizens.In addition to her parents, Theresa was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph in 1983 and by two brothers, James and Robert Conlon.Surviving are her children, Joseph and his wife Cindy of Columbus, OH; Michael and his wife Rita of Mentor OH; Bridget and her husband Mike Cernansky of Toronto; Diane and her husband Joe Matthews of Brilliant; Pat and his wife Kim of Toronto, and one brother John Conlon of Steubenville. In addition to her children she is survived by 14 grandchildren, Karen, Joanna, Denise, Sean, Kevin, David, Ryan, Justin, Kelly, Jennifer, Joseph, Gretchen, Bridget, and Patrick.Also surviving are her great-grandchildren, Britany, Stephen, Jessica, Michael, Colin, Hannah, Luke, Glenn and Aidan.Theresa is also survived by her very dear friend Jack Doran. Theresa was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, &great-grandmother.She will be remembered by her family and friends as a courageous role model, and a woman of beauty and grace.Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 7th from 2-4 and 6-9pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto, where a blessing service will be held on Wednesday morning at 9:30 followed by Funeral Liturgy with Mass at 10am at the St. Francis Roman Catholic Church in Toronto, Msgr.
