Thomas Gerald Jerry Esken, 76, of Toronto, OH, passed away Wednesday, June 7, 2023, in the Valley Hospice Care Center in Steubenville, OH.

Jerry was born August 9, 1946, in E. Liverpool, OH, son of the late William and Kathleen (Milne) Esken.

He retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. with over 30 years of service as a Machinist.

Jerry was a Veteran of the US Navy. He served two tours of duty in the Vietnam War and was stationed on the U.S.S. Pawasa.

Jerry leaves behind his son, Thomas Craig (Denise) Esken of Texas; two daughters, Tracy Diane Esken of Wintersville, OH, and Kimberly Marie (Bryan) Burdick of Richmond, OH; three brothers, Wilson, Paul, and Henry; five grandchildren, Noah, Hanna, Hayley, Nathan, and Jacob.

Jerrys wishes were to be cremated. A service and burial will take place in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies at a later date. Arrangements for Jerry are in the care of the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto, OH.
