Thomas J. Anderson, 62, of Toronto, OH, passed away suddenly Sunday May 29, 2016 in Trinity Medical Center West in Steubenville, OH.

Tom was born July 10, 1953 in Steubenville, son of the late George and Helen (Buchmelter) Anderson.

He was employed as an electrician for the Prominent Fluids Controls Inc., in Robinson Twp, PA and was formerly employed with Wheeling-Pitts. Steel Corp.

Tom was an active member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Toronto, the Knights of Columbus and he was a former vol. fireman for the Hillendale V.F.D. Tom attended St. Agnes Catholic School in his early life and was a 1972 graduate of Steubenville Catholic Central High School.

In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his sister, Jane Rychlick, and two brothers, George and Jack Anderson.

Surviving is his wife, Esther K. (Tizziani) Anderson, whom he married on May 23, 1987; two daughters, Katie Anderson of Toronto and Regina Anderson of Lakewood, OH; two sisters, Mary Ann (John) Marconi of Henderson, NV and Helena Tickie (Chuck) Dickey of Mingo Jct., OH; five brothers, Bob (Judy) Anderson of Mingo Jct., Alex (Beverly) Anderson of Bloomingdale, OH, Denny (Andrea) Anderson of Steubenville and Frank (Debbie) Anderson also of Mingo Jct.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 from 4-8 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home 701 Findley St. in Toronto. Additional visitation will be held on Thursday from 10 am til time of Toms Funeral Mass at 11 am at St. Joseph Church on N. River Ave. in Toronto. Father Mario Tizziani will celebrate his Mass and burial will follow in Toronto Union Cemetery.

Vigil Services will be Wednesday evening at 7:45 pm.
