Thomas A. Maffett, 65, of Toronto.Thomas A. Maffett, 65, of Toronto, passed away Thursday, September 14, at TrinityMedicalCenter West in Steubenville.Tom was born November 29, 1940 in Toronto, son of the late Samuel H. and Dorothy (Littlecott) Maffett.Tom was a retired employee of First Energy's W.H. Sammis Plant and a Methodist by faith.Tom is survived by his wife, Wanda (Reidy), of home, whom he married on January 12, 1963.Also surviving is one son, Thomas A. (Fay Younkin) Maffett of New Alexandria, OH; daughter, Amy (John) Baker Pippo of Toronto; his grandchildren, Joshua, Melia and Brennan Baker and J.T. Pippo, all of Toronto; brothers, Charles W. Maffett, Cliff "Buzz" and Eddy Gayle Maffett, Samuel L. and Joyce Maffett, John H. and Diana Maffett; sister, Nancy and John Elson all of Toronto. Tom is also survived by several nieces and nephews.Friends and family are invited to attend a Memorial Service for Tom on Sunday Sept. 24th. at 12:30 pm. at Bray's Chapel Church on Costonia Rd. near Toronto.
