Thomas L. Piatt, Jr., 70, of Stratton, OH, passed away Friday Jan. 1, 2021 in Trinity Medical Center West in Steubenville, OH.

Tom was born March 27, 1950 in Empire, OH, son of the late Thomas L., Sr. and Jacqueline (Byers) Piatt.

Tom was a retired maintenance worker. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler fan, and he loved all his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Andrea Joyell Piatt and an infant brother, Jeffrey.

Surviving is his wife, Darlene K. (Tice) Piatt; two sons, Thomas L. Piatt III of Empire, OH and Travis (Traci) Piatt of Toronto; daughter, Dawn Lynn (Michael) Speedy of Irondale, OH; three sisters, Linda (John) Garren of Newark, OH, Sherry (Randall) Perkins of Toronto, and Sandra (Dave) Olesky of VA; two brothers, Clifford (Lisa) Piatt of NC and Audrey Mort (Amy) Piatt of Toronto; 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Tom will be cremated and his burial will be held at the convenience of his family in the Sugar Grove Cemetery. His arrangements are in the care of J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto. www.jefosterfh.com
