Thomas D. Schroyer , 68, of Toronto, OH, passed away Thursday, April 30, 2015 at his home surrounded by his family.

Tom was born Feb. 2, 1947 in Steubenville, OH, son of the late Jack and Mavis Jones Schroyer.

He was retired from Weirton-Steel Corp. where he worked as a Foreman in the Trucking Dept.; he was a member of First United Methodist Church in Toronto.

Tom was a veteran of the US Army having served in Germany during the Vietnam War.

He leaves behind his wife, Barbara Allen Schroyer whom he married June 13, 1970; his children, David (Roxanne) Schroyer of Dresden, OH and Amy Elson and her companion Derek Ohalek of Toronto; his sister Susan Coil of Toronto; his brother Randy (Nancy) Schroyer of Columbus, OH; seven grandchildren, Ashley Smith (Jake) Booth, Alex, Ethan, Nate and Isabella Schroyer and Carlie and Olivia Elson.

There will be no visitation or funeral services at this time and Toms burial will be held at the convenience of his family. Arrangements for Tom are in the care of the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto.
