Obituary
Thomas J. Turtle Strekel, 56 of Smithfield, OH passed away Monday July 20, 2015 in Trinity Medical Center West in Steubenville, OH.
Tom was born Aug. 22, 1958 in Martins Ferry, OH, son of the late Thomas and Pearl (Miller) Strekel Jr.
He was a retired carpenter.
Surviving is his daughter Alison (Tom) Johnson of Brilliant, OH, four sisters; Gloria (John) Bartyzel and June (John) Kensicki both of Dillonvale, OH, Sharon (Albert) Slokan of Glendale, WV and Donna (Roger) Sliva of Adena, OH.
Tom wishes were to be cremated. There will be no visitation and burial will be at the convenience of his family.
Tom was loved and will be greatly missed by family and friends. During his life and at his passing, Tom was surrounded by his loving daughter, sisters, dear friends and family members.
