Todd J. Roset, 50, of Dillonvale, OH, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, October 9, 2022, in the Trinity Medical Center West ER in Steubenville, OH.

Todd was born Jan. 12, 1972, in Martins Ferry, OH, son of the late Andy and Diane (Klapka) Roset.

Todd was currently employed with the Jefferson County Water and Sewer Dept. He was also the current Fire Chief and 36-year member of the Smithfield Vol. Fire Dept. Todd was a huge asset to the department providing service to Smithfield and many other surrounding towns.

He was an avid supporter of all local sports and had been a coach for the past 20 years. Todd also loved going to fairs, it didnt matter which one or where it was.

Todd leaves behind his wife, Lori A. (Bell) Roset; two daughters, Kaitlyn Kalinski (Gage Campbell) of Smithfield, OH, and Madison Roset of home; sister, Shari (Robert) Staten, and brother, Jeremy (Miranda) Roset both of Smithfield; granddaughter, Bella Kalinski of Smithfield; two nieces, Morgan Staten and Ryan Roset, and nephew, Hunter Staten.

Visitation will be held Thursday, Oct. 13 from 1 to 4 pm and again from 6 to 8 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Smithfield. Services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
