Violet M. Cich, 85, of Toronto, Ohio passed away Wednesday evening at the Carriage Inn of Steubenville. She was born March 7, 1922 in Toronto, daughter of the late Peter and Helen Novak Silop. She was a homemaker and a catholic by faith. In addition to her parents, Violet was preceded in death by her husband, Adam A. Cich , by her daughter, Charlotte Hughes, and by an infant son. Surviving are her son, James W. Cich of Toronto, three grandsons, James A. Cich of Long Island, N.Y., Brian Hughes of Wintersville, and Shawn (Jodie) Hughes of Toronto, her son-in-law Gary Hughes of Toronto.
