Virginia (Graham) Black, 87, of Stratton, OH, passed away Friday, Feb. 26, 2016 in Trinity Med. Center West in Steubenville, OH.

Virginia was born Nov. 7, 1928 in New Cumberland, WV, daughter of the late George D. and Edna (Barnes) Graham.

She was a beloved wife, mother, homemaker and a faithful member of the First United Methodist Church in Toronto, OH.

In addition to her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by two brothers, one sister and her great-grandson Ethan Downing.

She leaves behind her husband, William Bill Black whom she married May 8, 1948; her two daughters, Ann (Allan) Anderson of Columbus, OH and Karen (Joe) Downing of Wheeling, WV; her four grandchildren, Joseph (Sabrina) Downing of Wheeling, Heston Anderson of Columbus, Eric (Andrea) Anderson of Ravenswood, WV, Brandon (Samantha) Anderson of Columbus and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation and funeral services for Virginia will both be held on Monday, Feb. 29 at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home 701 Findley St. in Toronto, OH. Visitation will be from 11 am til the time of her funeral service at 1 pm. with Rev. Kevin Rinkes officiating. Her burial will be held in Island Creek Cemetery at the convenience of her family.
