Virginia M. Laizure, 89, of Toronto, OH, passed away Friday, January 30, 2015 in Lancia Villa Royale Nursing Home in Steubenville, OH.

Virginia was born August 6, 1925 in Steubenville, daughter of the late Everett and Ruth Busler Dillon.

She was a former member of the Toronto Lanes Womens Bowling League and was a Protestant by faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Don Lee Laizure who passed in 1990; her son Richard Laizure; grandson Douglas Scott Robertson; sister Wilma Trampus and brothers, Arthur, Robert, William and Clifford Dillon.

Virginia leaves behind her children, Linda Mickley of Newport News, VA, Marla Kay Robertson of Toronto, Patricia Laizure of Steubenville, Cheryl (Rick) Doran of Steubenville and David Laizure of Toronto; her brother Everett Dillon of Wintersville; six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Virginia will be held on Monday, Feb. 2 from 4-7 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home 701 Findley St. in Toronto. Her funeral service will be held Tuesday at 10 am at the funeral home with Msgr. Gerald Calovini officiating. Burial will follow in Ft. Steuben Burial Estates in Wintersville.
