Virginia C. Murphy, 87, of Toronto, Ohio passed away Saturday Dec. 27, 2008 in the Valley Hospice Care Center North in Steubenville.Virginia was born Sept. 14, 1921 in Steubenville, daughter of the late Nathan and Bertha Kemmner Weaver. She retired from the Jefferson County Day Care Center in 1986. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Donald J. Murphy in 1985 and her sister Helen Miller in 1995. Surviving are two sons, Thomas J. Murphy of Toronto, with whom she resided and Michael Murphy of Florida; five Grandchildren and three Great-Grandchildren.A Family chapel service was held Tuesday (Today) at Fort Steuben Burial Estates in Wintersville.
