Obituary
Virginia A. Ginger Romey, 83, of Toronto, OH, passed away Monday Jan. 16, 2017 in Trinity Medical Center West in Steubenville, OH.
Ginger was born Jan. 19, 1933 in Steubenville, daughter of the late Walter and Agnes (Agnew) Gaffney.
She worked for 20 yrs. for the former Dimension Cable Co. in Toronto as an office manager. Ginger was a member of St. Francis Roman Catholic Church in Toronto.
In addition to her parents, Ginger was preceded in death by her husband, William J. Romey, who passed away on July 1, 2015; four sisters, Mary, Betty, Josie and Eileen; two brothers, Walter and James.
Surviving is her daughter, Cindy Romey of CA; four sons, William (Suzanne) Romey of NC, Stephen (Bernadette) Romey of Toronto, Terry (Pam) Romey and Chris Romey both of CA; five grandchildren, Mike (Michelle) Romey of Toronto, Dr. Meredith (Dr. Aaron) Parry of Charleston, WV, T.J. Romey of Oregon, Liz Romey and Giordan Romey both of Toledo, OH; four great-grandchildren, Isabella and Penelope Romey and Zoe and Rock Parry; her daughter-in-law, Jane Romey of Toledo and Gingers husky dog Charlie.
Private family services were held for Ginger with Father Thomas Vennitti at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home 701 Findley St. in Toronto.
