Virginia L. Starr, 86 of Toronto, OH, passed away Saturday, Sept. 19, 2015 surrounded by her family.
She was born Nov. 15, 1928 in Empire, OH, daughter of the late Floris F. and Mabel B. (Barker) Foster.
Virginia was a very active member of First United Methodist Church in Toronto. She was a 1947 graduate of Toronto High School.
Virginias life was her family whom she loved with all her heart.
In addition to her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Neal Starr, who passed in 2006. They were married June 13, 1948. She was also preceded in death by her two sisters, Dorothy J. Foster and Naomi Allen.
Virginia leaves behind her three daughters, Victoria (Bruce) Boggs, Brenda (Jack) Daniels, Debbie (Jim) McGraw and her fourth daughter, Bonnie Valentine (Joe Knight) all of Toronto; her four grandsons, Shawn Henderson (Laura Harter) of Worthington, OH, Steve (Andrea) Henderson of Akron, OH, Chris (Julie) Henderson of Lewis Center, OH and Brent McGraw (Jamie Patterson) of Toronto; her step-grandchildren, Charlie Daniels, Sarah (Dan) Diamond and Lori Iafrate; her great-grandchildren, Malcolm, Noah, Liam, Elliot and Kendal; her step-great-grandchildren, Zach, Autumn, Ella, Joe and Mike. Aunt Gin also leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Virginia will be held on Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1 pm at First United Methodist Church in Toronto with Rev. Kevin Rinkes officiating. Additional visitation will be held at the church from 12 noon til time of her service at 1. Burial will follow in Toronto Union Cemetery.
