Walter F. Fullerton, loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather, of Toronto, OH, passed away Thursday, July 18, 2024, in the Weirton Medical Center at the age of 84.

Walter was born January 18, 1940, in Toronto, son of the late Samuel and Alice (Donahue) Fullerton.

He was retired from the Steubenville Labor Union Local #809 where he had 54 years of service.

Walter was a veteran of the US Marine Corp. and a member of the Toronto Masonic Lodge #583 F&AM.

In addition to his parents, Walter was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Keith Gooch; sister, Ruth Chevalier; four brothers, Eugene "Bud", William, Jim and Richard "Samuel".

He leaves behind his wife of 63 years, Kathy L. (Voltz) Fullerton, whom he married July 29, 1961; daughter, Mary Gooch of Toronto; grandson, Matthew (Jennifer) Gooch of Toronto; granddaughter, Kayla (Paul) Gentile of Midland, PA; great-grandson, Brayden Gooch of Bethlehem, WV; five sisters, Jackie Williamson, Janet Morrow, Beverly Owens and Carol Long all of Toronto, and Rosalie McIntyre of Myrtle Beach, SC; two brothers, Robert and Ronald Fullerton, both of Toronto.

A funeral service for Walter will be held Monday, July 22 at 2 PM at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto. Family and friends will be received from 12 noon to 2 pm. Rev. Kevin Rinkes will officiate, and burial will follow in the Toronto Union Cemetery. www.jefosterfh.com
