Wanda M. Knox, 70, of New Alexandria, OH, passed away Sunday, Aug. 6, 2023 in the Trinity West Medical Center in Steubenville, OH.

Wanda was born Jan. 14, 1953 in West Virginia, daughter of the late Thamer and Mabel (Haddix) Weaver.

In addition to her parents, Wanda was preceded in death by the father of her children, Kenneth R. Lucas, her late husband Paul Knox, and daughter Sandra Mae Lucas.

Wanda leaves behind her children, Jeff Lucas of Rayland, Steve Lucas of Yorkville, Nick (Rose) Lucas of Dillonvale, Pamela Lucas (Greg Bates) of New Alexandria, Joey Lucas (Amber Postlewait) of Cadiz, Kenny (Brittany) Lucas of Yorkville, Glenn Lucas of Tiltonsville, Crystal (Tommy) Miller of Mingo Jct., and Teresa Lucas of Buckhannon, WV; siblings, Thamer Leawood Weaver, Sandra Kay Raines, and William Glenn Weaver; 16 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Visitation for Wanda will be held Wednesday from 11 am to 12 noon at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Smithfield, OH, with funeral services following at 12 noon. A private burial will follow in the New Alexandria Cemetery. www.jefosterfh.com
