Obituary
Wanda L. (Sutherin) Maher, 93, of Canton, OH, passed away Monday, October 23, 2017 in the Brewster Parke Nursing Home in Brewster, OH.
Wanda was born Feb. 21, 1924 in Empire, OH, daughter of the late Albert F. and Gladys L. (Culp) Sutherin.
She was retired from the Canton City School District where she worked as a Middle School Remedial Reading Teacher. Wanda was also a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Canton.
In addition to her parents, Wanda was preceded in death by her sisters, June Kennedy and Phyllis Karaffa and her brothers, Robert and Kenneth Sutherin.
Wanda leaves behind her son, Peter Maher of Canton; her sister, Karen McGarry of Toronto, OH; her brother, Don (Nancy) Sutherin of Hartville, OH and several nieces and nephews.
A private family graveside service was held in the Toronto Union Cemetery in Toronto, OH.
Wandas arrangements are in the care of the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto.
