Wanda J. (McKnight) Woodward, 84, of Toronto, OH, passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at her home.
Wanda was born on July 13, 1942, in Toronto, daughter of the late Delbert and Bessie (Rawson) McKnight. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Dean and Jack McKnight, sister, Wilma Walker, and nephew, Michael Walker.
She retired as a teller from the former Unibank in Toronto. Wanda was a member of First Methodist Church in Toronto, where she belonged to the Mary Martha Sunday School Class and the Faithful Followers and helped count the Sunday collection. She was also a member of Toronto Eastern Star Chapter #215.
Surviving is her husband, William Kenneth Woodward, whom she married on Nov. 24, 1962; three sons, William Kenneth (Kristen) Woodward, Jr. of Lebanon, TN, Mark Woodward of Westover, PA, and Brent (Stephanie) Woodward of Lascassas, TN; seven grandchildren, Deidra, Tyler, and Joshua Woodward, Ashlyn Capper, Leiah, Sophie, and Harrison Woodward, and special nieces, Lindsay and Linda Clifton.
A memorial service for Wanda will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 17, at First Methodist Church in Toronto, with a gathering from 10 to 11 a.m. The Rev. Kevin Rinkes and Pastor Susan Clegg will co-officiate.
Wanda is in the care of the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto. Memorial donations may be directed to St. Judes Children’s Research Hospital or The Parkinson's Foundation.
