Wayne C. Hasley, 64, of Bloomingdale, OH, passed away Wednesday Aug. 16, 2017 at his home.

Wayne was born in Smithfield, OH on Feb. 15, 1953. He was the son of Betty J. (Patterson) Hasley of Rayland, OH who survives and late Gerald C. Hasley, who passed in 2013.

He worked in the trucking and steel industries retiring from the Weirton Steel Corp. in 2006 to pursue a degree in accounting. Wayne also was a bus driver for the Indian Creek School District.

Wayne was a Past Master of the Smithfield Masonic lodge #182 F&AM and a lifelong member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Bloomingdale.

In addition to his mother Betty, Wayne is survived by his three babydolls daughters, Monica (Michael) Hollen, Rachael (Josh) Peckins and Olivia Hasley; his granddaughter, Avery Peckins; his friend and former wife, Kay Riggs and many beloved aunts, uncles and cousins.

Family and friends will be received on Sunday, Aug. 20 from 12 noon 3 pm and again from 5 7 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home 107 Hill St. in Smithfield, OH. His funeral service will be held on Monday at 10 am the funeral home with Rev. John Oliver officiating and burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens in Pleasant Grove, OH. Masonic Services will be held Sunday eve at 7 pm at the funeral home.
