Wayne A. "Buffalo" White, 57, of Steubenville, OH, passed away Sunday, October 30, 2011 in Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA.Wayne was born June 24, 1954 in Steubenville, OH, son of the late Samuel P. and Agnes (Radcliffe) White.Wayne was retired from the Avalotis Corp. in Verona, PA where he worked as a Painter and eventually became a Foreman. He was a member of the Painter's Union Local #438 in Steubenville, OH.In addition to his parents, Wayne was preceded in death by his brothers, Paul and Lewis White; his sister Patty Brown and two infant brothers, Roger and James.Wayne is survived by his wife, Rosetta "Po" (Szypkowski) White whom he married on Sept. 2, 1972; his son Charlie C. White of Steubenville, OH; his daughter Amy (White) Carothers and son-in-law Michael Carothers of Richmond, OH; his four grandchildren, the loves of his life, twins Matthew and Zackery White and Eric and Rory Carothers; two sisters, Caroline and Carol White both of Toronto, OH; six brothers, Samuel of Mingo, OH, Steve of Steubenville, OH, Tony, Robert and Lawrence of Toronto, OH, and Carl of Marengo, OH. Wayne is also survived by several nieces and nephews.There will be a memorial visitation held for Wayne on Saturday, November 5 from 12-2pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto, OH followed by a Memorial Service at 2pm. Preacher James Montgomery will officiate the memorial service.
