William H. 'Bill' Timlin, 87 of Steubenville, Ohio (Pleasant Hill) passed away Wed. Oct 29, 2008 in T.M.C.W., Steubenville.Bill was born April 12, 1921 in Youngstown, son of the late William and Helen Rowan Timlin. He was a retired employee of Weirton Steel Corp., Tin Mill; a member of the Weirton Steel 25 yr. Club, and was a U.S. Navy Veteran of W.W. II. In addition to his parents Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia L. Parsons Timlin in 1993, a brother James L. Timlin, two sisters Genevieve Smith and Virginia Walker.Surviving are two daughters, Linda (Ross) Dye and Judy(Gerald) Owings both of Toronto. Four Grandchildren, Ross and Doug Dye, Brandy (John) Devereaux and Jeremy (Ashley) Owings. Two Great-Grandchildren James Devereaux and Olivia Owings. Three sisters, Eileen Taylor of Jacksonville, Fla., Betty (Joe) Mickey and Margaret Bernard all of Wintersville.Friends and family may call Thursday 4 -8 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home, Inc. 701 Findley St. Toronto; where Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 11:00 am. Rev. Jeff Proya will officiate his service. Burial will follow in Toronto Union Cemetery.
