Obituary

William F. Canyock,82of Steubenville, passed away Sat. March 10, 2007 in the Carriage of Steubenville. He was born Sept. 15, 1924 in Steubenville, son of the late Franklin and Marie Rowe Canyock. Bill was retired from Weirton Steel Corp. Coke plant, was a member of the LaBelle View Church of Christ in Steubenville, Weirton Steel 25 year Club, served during W.W. II in the U.S. Navy and also served during the Korean Conflict in the U.S. Air Force. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Elsie "Nellie" Ensell Canyock, an infant son Thomas James, three brothers, Harold, Raymond, and Robert Canyock and one sister Betty Canyock Ensell. Surviving are his children; Patricia Frattini of Middleburg, Fla., Joseph Canyock and Sandy Canyock both of Steubenville, four grandchildren; Brian and Matthew Frattini, Joy FrattiniRoberts all of Florida, Christopher Canyock of Steubenville, Four Great-Grandchidren and his Sister; Ada Zonker of Toronto. Friends and family may call on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7- 9 pm. at the J. E. Foster Funeral Homes, Inc., 701 Findley St., Toronto; where services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 am. Rev. Thomas Arehart will officiate the services and burial will follow in Ft.Steuben Burial Estates in Wintersville.
