William Carl Clark 73 of Toronto, Ohio formerly of Rock Hill S.C. passed away Sunday April 3, 2005 in the Valley Hospice Palliative Care Unit In Steubenville, Ohio. Carl was born Oct. 4, 1931 in Lancaster S.C. son of the late Elbert and Abbie Kennington Clark. Carl was a retired U.S. Navy Veteran serving for 25 years and served in the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He was presently employed by the Capital Protection Agency in Pittsburgh, Pa. and was a member of the 1st. United Methodist Church in Toronto. In addition to his parents, Carl was preceded in death by his 1st. wife; Mary Jo Clark in 1980, a Daughter; Kimberly Clark in 1993 and a Granddaughter; Anastasia Hollen in 1997. Surviving are; his Wife, Patricia Smith Hollen Clark of home, whom he married on Sept. 29, 1984. Children; Carlene Julie Clark of home, Bryan Clark of the U.S. Navy in N.C.,Curt Clark of Toronto. Nancy ( Joseph ) McNalley of Canton , MS., Renee (Fred) Thomas, Gail ( Tim ) Queen both of Rock Hill S.C., Two Sisters; Dixie ( Baron ) Mattison and Ann Ivy both of Rock Hill S.C. His extended children; Reno "Cricket " (Michele ) Hollen of Toronto, Ray ( Lisa ) Hollen of Elizabeth, WVa., Rozita "Bunnie" (Kevin ) Daugherty of Richmond, Ohio; Raelene (Paul) Shell of Steubenville; Kandy (Bruce) Hughes od Laporte,TX., Martha Cochran and companion Johnny McCarthey of Ky.; Charles "Chic" Hollen and William (Diane) Walker all of Fort. Mill S.C. Grandchildren; Alyssa "Scooter" and Alexis "Peanut" Hollen, Cortney Necaise, Jessica Clark all of Toronto, Courtney Hollen and Naddine Hollen of Elizabeth, W.Va., Ryan and Nikole Daughtery, Jayson (Candice) Daugherty and Kevin (Shannon) Daugherty all of Richmond, Ohio; Winnie Shell of Steubenville, Paul (Jessica) Shell of Wintersville; Hollen (Sho) Shell of Japan; Joseph Julian of Colorado, Christopher Julian of Texas; David Ray Stewart, Patricia Leann Stewart, Angela Hollen all of N.C.; Amanda (Tommy) Rush, Ben Walker all of N.C. 18 Great -Grandchildren Friends and family may call on Thursday 2 -4 and 7 -9 pm. at the J. E. Foster Funeral Home, Inc. 701 Findley St. Toronto; where Services will be held on Friday at 11:00 am.Rev. Kevin Rinkes and Rev. Wayne Hogue will officiate. Burial will follow in Toronto Union Cemetery. Full Military graveside honors will be conducted by the Toronto American Legion Post # 86.
