William C. 'Bill' 'Cookie' Cook, 57, of Toronto, Ohio passed away Saturday Jan. 5th. 2008 in Long Key, Florida as a result of a motorcycle accident. Bill was born Oct. 21, 1950 in Steubenville, son of the late William L. and Anna (Grula) Cook. Bill was a certified welder, formerly employed at the Toronto Paperboard Co., and was the former owner of Cookie's Bar in Stratton, Ohio. Bill was a an avid motorcyclist, and was a member of St. Francis Roman Catholic Church. In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his sister Linda Sue Cook and by an infant brother David Michael Cook. Surviving are; Bill's sister Shirley (Gary) Yuhasz of Big Pine Key, Fla., four nieces, Lisa Leno of St. Augustine, Fl., Amanda Grubb of Fort Collins, CO., Renee (Tim) Anderson and Mylee (Shawn) Head both of Toronto. Four great-nieces, Maddie and Jenna Anderson, Kira Head, Olivia Leno and one great-nephew Colten Head. Bill is also survived by many close friends whose lives he touched. Friends and family may call on Friday Jan. 11th. from 6 - 9 pm. at the J. E. Foster Funeral Home, Inc. 701 Findley St. Toronto, Ohio. There will be a vigil service at 8:15pm Friday evening at the funeral home. Services and burial will take place at the convenience of his family. Following visitation Friday evening friends and family will be gathering at Mobley's Bar in Stratton, Bill's former Bar (Cookie's). In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Bill's memory to help offset his funeral expenses.
