William F. Grindle, 88, of Toronto, Ohio passed away at his home on Friday Oct. 12, 2012. Bill was born Dec. 3, 1923 in Empire, Ohio, son of the late James and Mildred Heckathorn Grindle. Bill was retired from the City of Tallahassee, Fla. Water Dept. and served his country in the U.S. Army during WW II. In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his four brothers, Jim, Bob, Tom and Harry; and by his two sisters, Evelyn Holmes and Ruth Ann Roach. Surviving are his sister, Jean (Wayne) Henderson of Toronto and several nieces and nephews. There will be no visitation. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
