William D. Howells, 88, of Yorkville, OH, passed away Saturday, Sept. 8, 2018 in the Valley Hospice Care Center North in Steubenville, OH.

Bill was born Sept. 10, 1929 in Yorkville, son of the late William and Pauline (Wayte) Howells.

He was a Veteran of the US Army having served his country in WWII. Bill was retired from National Lubricating Products, Co. in Brilliant, OH, where he was a truck driver.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Jenine Conlon and two brothers, Tom and Robert Howells.

Bill is survived by his brother, Trevor (Patty) Howells of Belliare, OH; his sister-in-law, Judy Howells of Yorkville and his companion, Dianna Gosney also of Yorkville and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service is being planned at Holly Memorial Gardens in Colerain, OH. The date and time will be updated once it is finalized. Arrangements for Bill are in the care of the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Smithfield, OH.
