William R. "Bill" Hughe 75 of Irondale, Ohio died Tuesday April 6, 2004 in the emergency room of E. Liverpool City Hospital. Bill was born May 25, 1928 in Toronto, Ohio, son of the late Harry "Muggsy " and Evelyn Davidson Hughes. Bill was retired from the former Hancock Mfg. Co. in Toronto, was a U.S. Army Veteran of the the Korean War, Is a member of the Irondale United Methodist Church and attended The River Christian Fellowship Church in Empire. Bill was a member of the Toronto Pigeon Club, where he enjoyed raising and racing Homing Pigeons. In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his Wife; Doris Carman Hughes in 1998 and his brother, James Patrick Hughes. Surviving are; His Daughter; Deborah Wardeska of Irondale, Three Grand-Daughters;Mary Beth (Michael ) Smith of Austin Lake (Toronto ), Amy (Rick ) Wade of Columbus, and JoAnn Wardeska of Irondale. One Sister; Shirley ( Donald ) McFall of Toronto, and Two Great-Grandchildren; Sadie Wright and Lili Smith. Friends and Family may call on Thursday Evening from 6-9 pm. at the J. E. Foster Funeral Home, Inc. 701 Findley St. Toronto, Ohio. Friends and Family may call on Friday at The River Christian Fellowship Church in Empire from 12:30 pm. up til time of the Services which are at 1:30 pm.
