William F. Bill Morris, 66, of (Georges Run) Mingo Jct., OH passed away Tuesday Sept. 1, 2015 in Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA.
Bill was born July 15, 1949 in Piney Fork, OH, son of the late Lawrence and Myrtle Long Morris.
Bill was a retired Certified Blaster for the Austin Powder Co. in Hopedale, OH. He was Presbyterian by faith and was an avid Ohio State Buckeye Fan.
In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his son, David William Morris in 2000, his grandson Nathaniel David Morris and his brother Wayne Morris.
Surviving is his wife of 44 years, Charlotte G. (Harkins) Morris; his daughter Joey (Brian) Bell of New Alexandria, OH; two grandchildren, Preslie Renforth and Sierra Morris; his daughter-in-law Mandy Morris-Dalton of Morgantown, WV; his two sisters, Dolly (Jim) Cichon of Mt. Pleasant, OH and Bonnie Morris of Piney Fork; his two brothers Harry (Sandy) Shirley of Salem, OH and David (Charlotte) Morris Jewett, OH; his mother-in-law, Flora Harkins of Rayland, OH; a special niece Faith Ellen Morris also of Piney Fork.
Bill is also survived by his brother-in-law, Dwain (Paula) Harkins of Rayland; his sister-in-laws, Becky (Brad) Kovarik and Rhonda (Dino) Phillippi all of Smithfield, OH and other special nieces and nephews.
A Memorial service celebrating Bills life will be held on Saturday Sept. 5, 2015 at 11 am at the Smithfield Presbyterian Church on Main St. in Smithfield, OH. Kenny Kourim will officiate Bills service.
Arrangements for Bill are in the care of the J. E. Foster Funeral Home, Inc., 107 Hill St. in Smithfield, OH.
