William J. "Bill" Owens Jr., 77of Toronto, Ohio passed away suddenlyMonday evening at his home. Bill was born Oct. 3, 1928 in Empire, Ohio; son of the late James R. and Lillian E. Koehnlein Owens. He was a retired service technician for Hawkins Heating Inc. of Steubenville. He attended the Toronto1st.Church of the Nazarene and was an avid nascar follower.In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his former wife Dolores Nelson Owens in 1997 and his brother Donald Owens.Surviving are his three daughters; Lillian "Punky" (Ken) Reighard of Toronto, Pam (Mike) Waldman of Valrico, Fla., and Denise (Craig) Morris of Steubenville.1 Granddaughter, Taby Morris of Steubenville, 2 Grandsons; Ken(Jennifer) Reighard of Perrysburg, Ohio,Jason Reighard of Toronto, and two Great-Granddaughters; Jessica and Samantha Reighard of Perrysburg, Ohio.Friends and family may call on Friday Feb. 17th, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. at the J. E. FOSTER FUNERAL HOME, INC. 701 Findley ST.Toronto; where services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 am.Rev.
