Wilma Mae "Chee Wee" Dobbins, 85, of Rayland, OH passed away March 16, 2024,
In the Harrison Community Hospital in Cadiz, OH.
Wilma was born on Dec. 15, 1938, in Little York, OH, daughter of the late Earcel and Laura (Thompson) Best, Sr.
Wilma retired from the Central Intelligence Agency as an Admin Officer in 2003. Her career choice reflected her love of adventure, exploring new places and her desire to serve her country.
She loved cooking and baking, especially for holidays. Wilma also enjoyed gardening, flowers, birds, and butterflies.
She was a member of the Meadowbrook Church of God in Rayland, OH.
In addition to her parents, Wilma was preceded in death by her siblings, Carol Diloreto, Patricia (Best) Criswell, Earcel Best, Jr. and Glen Best.
Wilma leaves behind her two daughters; Robin (William) Gubanich and Donna Dobbins. Three grandchildren; Alex Gubanich, James Nightingale, and Abby Nightingale, two great-grandchildren; Arielle Gubanich and Elise Nightingale. Four siblings; Arthur (Phillis) Best, Christine (Ralph) Jenkins, John (Darlene) Best and Tammy (Robert) Jenkins.
Wilma wishes were to be cremated, with burial to be held at the convenience of her family in Holly Memorial Gardens.
Wilmas family would send a special thanks to the staff of Harrison Community Hospital and Gables Care Center.
Wilmas arrangements are in the care of J. E. Foster Funeral Homes, Inc. in Smithfield, OH.
