Wilma L. Elder, 92, of Steubenville, OH (formerly Toronto), passed away November 26, 2023, in the Trinity Medical Center West in Steubenville.

Wilma was born August 13, 1931, in Knoxville, OH, daughter of the late Forrest and Ruby (Gross) Elder. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Eugene Elder and sister, Thelma Elder Pasco.

She was a graduate of Jefferson Union High School and went on to work and later retire from the Dept. of the US Navy Accounting Dept. in Virginia.

Wilma leaves behind her siblings, Margie Fike and Ernest (Janet) Elder both of Toronto, Betty Roe of E. Liverpool, OH, and Jaunietta Headmond of Steubenville. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews who for three generations referred to her as their Favorite Aunt.

There will be no public services for Wilma and her burial will be held at the convenience of her family. Her arrangements are in the care of the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto. www.jefosterfh.com
