Obituary

Wilma E. (Rock) Sabol, 95 of Toronto, Ohio passed away Friday Nov. 18, 2011 in Trinity Medical Center West. Wilma was born Nov. 13, 1916 in Toronto, daughter of the late John and Josephine Petras Rock. Wilma was a homemaker, but in the past she worked for the former Toronto Tribune, Gregory's Bakery and for the Steubenville Herald Star. She was a member of St. Joseph R.C. Church and the C.W.C. of the church. In addition to her parents, Wilma was preceded in death by her husband Andrew Paul Sabol, who passed away on Dec. 19, 1973, her sister, Sister Leone Rock, and her four brothers, John, Eddie, Bill and Bob Rock.Surviving are her two daughters; Judith A. Sabol of home and Marlene (William) Jones of Birmingham, AL., two sisters; Ann Smith and Dorothy "Dot" Marker both of Toronto, three grandchildren; Amy (James) Dorwart of Suffolk, Va., Kathryn Jones of Birmingham, Al., Bradley Jones of Suffolk, Va., three great-grandchildren; Rian Jones, Milena and Connor Dorwart. Also surviving is her trusted dog "Miss Molly".Visitation will be held on Sunday from 3-8 pm., at the J. E. Foster Funeral Home, Inc., 701 Findley St. Toronto. On Monday visitation will take place at St. Joseph's Catholic Church on River Ave. from 10:00 am up til time of her Funeral Liturgy with Mass at 11:00 am. Father Thomas Vennetti will Celebrate her Mass and burial will take place at a later date in Island Creek Cemetery. Vigil Service will be held on Sunday at 3:00 pm. www.jefosterfh.com
