Obituary
Clyde ‘Sonny’ Telek, 81, Rayland (Plum Run), OH, passed away Thursday July 21, 2022, in the Valley Hospice Care Center North in Steubenville, OH.
Sonny was born April 21, 1941, in Plum Run, son of the late Julius and Virginia (Reinagle) Telek.
Sonny was retired from Gil Thermes Fencing in Wintersville, OH. He was also a Veteran of the US Army.
In addition to his parents, Sonny was preceded in death by his son, Daniel Telek, two sisters, Theresa Telek and Barbara Baker, and brother, Leslie Telek.
Surviving is his wife, Rose A. (Walter) Telek, whom he married Oct. 2, 1965; son, Matthew (Elaina) Telek of Rayland, and daughter in law, Lynette Telek of Mt. Vernon, OH; four grandchildren, Tim Telek, Kim Nixon, Marley Thompson, and Mitchel Telek; two brothers, Julius (Barbara) Telek and Lenny (Linda) Telek both of Rayland.
Clyde’s wishes were to be cremated, with no services observed. His arrangements are in the care of J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Smithfield, OH.
