David K. Artman

David Karl Artman, 63 of Toronto, OH and President of Ridge Machine and Welding passed away December 25, 2018 after a strong and courageous battle with Kidney Disease and Metastatic Melanoma.

He was born March 31, 1955 to the late Richard Artman and Ann Artman Bray who survives.

David leaves behind his loving and dedicated wife, Debra (Grimm) Artman whom he married Oct. 4, 1975 and his two children, Aaron and his wife Amanda Artman and Sarah and her husband Kevin Santoro as well as his four grandchildren, Sophia and Santo David Santoro and Alexander and Ethan Thomas Artman who adored their Pappy Dave as well as his best buddy, Charlie the dog, who always gave him great comfort up to his very last moments.

He will be missed very much by all of his family members as well as his ‘boys’ at Ridge Machine.

Per Dave’s wishes there will be no services. Donations may be made in his memory to: Toronto Coalition for Revitalization, Impact Church of Weirton for their Cancer Blessing Bags or the Richmond United Methodist Church.

Dave’s family would also like to thank the wonderful and caring staff at the Carriage Inn of Steubenville for the excellent care he received over the last two weeks as well as his amazing dialysis nurses, Tammy and Tikisha, at the DaVita Center in Steubenville.
