Elbert A. Grill, 98, of Toronto, OH, passed away Thursday June 16, 2022, in the Paramount Senior Living at Cranberry, PA.
Elbert was born April 25, 1924, in Toronto, son of the late Simon and Mary (Bailey) Grill.
He was retired from the Weirton Steel Corp., where he worked as a mechanic in the Tin Mill. Elbert was a Veteran of the US Army having served his country during WWII.
Elbert was the oldest member of the First United Methodist Church in Toronto.
In addition to his parents, Elbert was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy (Bucey) Grill, on Jan. 28, 2013, brother, Eugene Grill and two sisters, Kay and Jane.
Surviving are two daughters, Lisa (Benny) Lonchar of Clinton, PA, and Lezlie (Dan) DiBucci of Allison Park, PA; seven grandchildren, Justin (Sally), Tyler (Christina), Matthew and Camryn Lonchar, Jordan, Joshua, and Taylor DiBucci, and one great-granddaughter, Kennedy Lonchar.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday June 25, 2022, at 1 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home 701 Findley St. in Toronto. Family and friends are invited to visit from 12 noon to 1 pm. Rev. Kevin Rinkes will officiate, and Military Honors will follow presented by the Toronto American Legion Post #86.
