George C. Donahue, Jr., 54, of Toronto, OH, passed away Sunday Jan. 10, 2021 at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.
George was born Nov. 18, 1966 in Canton, OH, son of George C. Donahue Sr., of TN, and Kathleen (Barber) Barnhart of Toronto.
He was employed by the Jefferson Metro Housing Maintenance Dept. until his illness. He was formerly employed by the Indian Creek School District. George was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler’s fan.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, is his son, Justin J. Donahue of Toronto; two daughters, Stephanie (David) Akins of ID, and Kimberly (Jeff Scott) Donahue of Toronto; two brothers, Matthew (Diana) Donahue of Empire, OH, and Christopher (Kyla) Donahue of Toronto; 7 grandchildren, 6 nieces and nephews including his nephew and hunting buddy, Christopher Donahue of Toronto.
Georges wishes were to be cremated with a family gathering to be held at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto.
