George Timcho Obituary

George D. Timcho, 65, of Toronto, OH, passed away Thursday Dec. 31, 2020 in the UPMC Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA.

 

George was born Oct. 11, 1955 in Steubenville, OH, son of the late George M. and Margaret (Slivka) Timcho.

 

He was retired from the Sheet Metal Local #33 out of Wheeling, WV. George was a member of the St. John Byzantine Catholic Church in Mingo Jct., OH.

 

In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by his grandson Bubby, brother-in-law Jim Peterson, and his mother-in-law Diane VanOss.

 

Surviving is his wife, Robyn R. (Householder) Timcho, whom he married May 1, 1982; daughter, Michelle (Ted) Davis; two sons, George Michael (Vonna) Timcho and Andrew J. Timcho all of Toronto; four grandchildren, Hunter Moran, Sophia Corfee, Lilly Ann and Declan Timcho; father-in-law, Dennis Householder and Mary of Toronto; two sisters, Margaret (Stan) Harasick of Winterville, OH and Christine Peterson of Mingo Jct.; brother, Tom (Deb) Timcho of Columbus, OH and his faithful companion, his dog Max.

 

George’s wishes were to be cremated with no services observed. His arrangements are in the care of the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto, OH.

 

Memorial donations may be directed to the Jefferson Co. Humane Society, 200 Airpark Drive, Wintersville, OH 43953.
