Grace Erma Quinlan, 95, of Steubenville, OH, formerly of Toronto, OH, passed away Thursday, April 30, 2020 in the Laurels of Steubenville.
Grace was born July 20, 1924 in Poland, OH, daughter of the late Andrew Szuch and Irene (Vargo) Szuch Slanchik. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Paul Quinlan, sister, Irene Pirigyi, brother, Andrew Szuch, son-in-law, Greg High, grandson, Douglas High, a baby boy and her stepfather, John Slanchik.
She was a graduate of Weir High School. Grace worked at Weirton Steel prior to marriage and she was a member of the St. Francis Roman Catholic Church in Toronto. She was also a 50+ year member of the Young Mother’s Card Club.
Grace leaves behind her children, Elaine (Richard) Kimmins previously (High) of Weirton, WV, Douglas (Cindy) Quinlan of Toronto, Nancy (Doug) Morgan of Canal Fulton, OH and Jennifer (Joe) Keenan of New Smyrna Beach, FL; her grandchildren, Jeff (Meredith) High, Carrie (Wilson) Quinlan, Adam (Miranda) Quinlan, Ashley Morgan, Lyndsay (Tim) Fox, Courtney (Andy) Wills, Hailey and Bethany Keenan; her great-grandchildren, Greg and Jacob High, Bradley, Kennedy and Audrey Fox, Patrick Wills and baby boy Wills due this summer; her brother, Joe (Myrtle) Szuch and many nieces and nephews.
Grace’s family is planning a memorial service at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto. The date and time will be announced. They would also like to thank the staff at the Laurels of Steubenville for the years of care given to their mother.
