John J. ‘Scotty’ Littlejohn, 77, of Toronto, OH, passed away Friday, August 30, 2019 in the Laurels of Steubenville.
Scotty was born Sept. 5, 1941 in Glasgow, Scotland son of the late Murdoch and Catherine (McGill) Littlejohn.
He was a retired Boilermaker with Local Union #154 in Pittsburgh, PA. After retirement, Scotty worked for the Village of Stratton. He also was a member of St. Francis Roman Catholic Church in Toronto.
In addition to his parents, Scotty was preceded in death by his brother Walter.
Scotty leaves behind his wife, Mary (Henderson) Littlejohn whom he married March 23, 1963; his daughter, Catherine Littlejohn of Weirton, WV; his son, John Littlejohn and his two granddaughters, Madilynn and Scottlynn all of Toronto.
Family and friends will be received Tuesday, Sept. 3 from 4 – 7 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto. His Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be held Wednesday at 10:30 am at St. Francis Catholic Church. Fr. Thomas Vennitti will celebrate and burial will be held at the convenience of his family.
There will be a Vigil Service Tuesday at 4 pm at the funeral home and additional visitation in the rear of the church on Wednesday from 9:45 am until time of the Mass.
