John B. Miller

John B. Miller, 65, of Toronto, OH, passed away Friday, April 29, 2022 in the Valley Hospice Care Center in Steubenville, OH, surrounded by his family.

John was born October 21, 1956 in Pittsburgh, PA, son of the late John J. and Loretta (Greiner) Miller.

After graduating high school John went on to Clarion University graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Business Management. John started working as a Salesman for Voto Sales in Steubenville and was currently the President and CEO. He was also a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Toronto.

In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by a sister, Rita Miller.

John leaves behind his wife, Shirley (Panno) Miller whom he married June 16, 1979; two sons, John (Jessie) Miller of Leonardtown, MD, and Matt (Brianne) Miller of Carnegie, PA; daughter, Elizabeth (Chris) Schmidt of Leonardtown, MD; two grandchildren, Jackson and Matthew Miller; brother, James B. (Janel) Miller of Madison, WI, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received Saturday, May 7, 2022, from 9 am to 11 am at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Toronto. A Funeral Liturgy with Mass will follow at 11 am. Fr. Thomas Vennitti will celebrate, and burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
