Kenneth M. Seiple

Kenneth M. ‘Ken’ Seiple, 78, formerly of Toronto, OH, passed away Sunday, May 16, 2021 in the Hilliard Assisted Living & Memory Care in Hilliard, OH.

Ken was born November 2, 1942 in Canton, OH, son of the late Warren C. and Ruth A. (Miller) Seiple.

Ken was retired from the Weirton Steel Corp. where he worked as a foreman in the Scale and Small Machine Repair Dept. He was a former member of the North River Ave. Church of Christ in Toronto. Ken also was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy.

Ken was a member of the Toronto Masonic Lodge No. 583 F&AM. He was an avid bowler, Pittsburgh Steeler fan and he loved to fish. Ken also enjoyed singing with Barbershop Quartets and other groups.  

In addition to his parents, Ken was preceded in death by his wife, Josephine Ann ‘Jo’ Seiple who passed in 2014.

Ken leaves behind his two sons, Dr. Clay Seiple and wife Lisa of Stow, OH and Kevin Seiple and wife Jill of Upper Arlington, OH and his five grandchildren who he loved dearly, Mitchell, William, Gracie, Hayden and Quinn.

Ken’s funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 22 at 2 PM at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto, OH. There will be visitation from 12 Noon to 2 PM prior to the service. Pastor Mike Ward will officiate, and entombment will follow in the Highland Hills Cemetery in Follansbee, WV. Military honors will be presented at the funeral home by the Toronto American Legion Post 86.
