Obituary
Margaret L. Tarnovich, 96, of Toronto, OH, passed away Thursday, April 6, 2023 in the Christian House in East Palestine, OH.
Margaret was born March 7, 1927, in Stratton, OH, daughter of the late Louis Tarnovich, Sr. and Alexandra (Thej) Tarnovich.
She retired from the former Ohio Edison First Energy W.H. Sammis Plant in Stratton where she worked as a Store Clerk.
Margaret was a member of the St. Joseph Byzantine Catholic Church in Toronto. She was a member of the church choir, a Past President of the Ladies Guild and a member of the Rosary Ladies.
In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by brothers, Michael, Louis, Nicholas, Donald and Joseph, and sisters, Anna Barborak, Helen Musiolowski, and Mary Rujak.
Margaret leaves behind several nieces and nephews who will sincerely miss her.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 11 from 4 to 7 PM at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home, where a funeral service will be held Wednesday at 10:30 AM. Rev. Father John Kapitan, Jr. OFM will officiate and burial will follow in the Toronto Union Cemetery. www.jefosterfh.com
